This project analyzes two wide-angle refraction/reflection ocean-bottom seismometer profiles recently collected offshore north-central Nova Scotia. Results include detailed information regarding the location and geometry of deep source rock basins, crystalline basement, Moho, and uppermost mantle. This program used the state-of-art Dalhousie Imaging Facility in Halifax. It helps retain critically important local expertise in seismic data analysis and de-risk petroleum exploration offshore Nova Scotia.
